Privacy

Short version: Luthier Wait Times has no accounts, no ads, no cookies of its own and no mailing list, and it doesn't sell anyone's data.

Visitor statistics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page views. It doesn't set cookies or use fingerprinting, and it doesn't follow you across other websites. The site owner only sees totals, such as page views, referring sites, countries and browser or device types. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Hosting and security

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and block attacks. This site doesn't keep its own server logs.

Contact form

If you use the Contact the owner form, the site stores what you enter (your name, your email address and your message) along with the time it was sent. You don't have to use your real name. To stop spam, the form also keeps a one-way scrambled (salted hash) version of your IP address for about an hour to limit repeat messages. The original IP address isn't stored.

Messages are stored with Cloudflare and are deleted automatically 365 days after they are sent. Your email address is used only to reply to you. It isn't added to a mailing list, shared or sold. You can ask for a message to be deleted sooner through the contact form.

Affiliate links and other sites

This site doesn't use affiliate links right now. If that changes, this page and the Disclosure page will be updated first.

Links to guitar builders' websites and to Reverb are plain links. Once you leave this site, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Children

This site isn't directed to children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their information.
